Refurbished Products, Highly Recommended

I understand the apprehension of most people with regards to buying refurbished products. To most of these individuals, these goods like the used cell phones and other used electronics are considered as bad buys, rejects or below quality. That might be partly true. But oftentimes, you could get an excellent deal out of these "rejects". You could get used cell phones, ipads or computers that are good as new but cost less. You could even buy one for half its original price. How? Simple. All you have to do is search, investigate and read reviews.

Let's start with the basics. First, what the hell is "refurbished"? According to wikipedia, refurbished products are products that have been returned to the store or vendor for specific reasons like minor scratches on the exterior, the box was opened when the buyer received the package or the product itself has some production defects. Either way, these products could be used or unused by the customer. Just so you know, these products are tested for defects before they are re-offered to another customer. The thing with refurbished devices, nobody knows the reason behind these goods.

Nostalgia

I lost my cell phone one day before my high school graduation. One of those memories that I intend to forget. The mere thought of it makes me somewhat nostalgic.

It was my graduation day. I can hardly hear the laughter of the soon-to-be graduates. Friends were bidding their last chat and goodbyes. Despite that, I can still see the happiness in their eyes. They were happy. I am not.

Cellular-Country-Scam
The day before that, I lost my phone. It was my first mobile phone, a nokia 3310. It was a graduation present from my dad. That time, the nokia 3310 was the "It". The new toy everyone was talking about. It was what high school students crave and dream of. And my father bought me one. Yes, you got me. I was tearful and extremely exited to use the gadget. I even bought the coolest case and installed the latest ring tone after. I was on hype. I never thought the feelings would be short-lived...

Facebook Under Attack?

According to the recent news from the New York Times, there are currently about 40,000 attacks per hour on Facebook accounts. This attack is a Trojan virus that the web browser accepts. This could be in the form of a chat feature or in a form of a news link.

By clicking on the link, the account owner will be transferred to an external website. This will be followed an invitation, or perhaps asking for an internet browser extension or plug-in to install. This was supposedly necessary so that you can watch the video or view the content of the link.

When downloaded, the browser extension instantly launches the "attack".
